The wedding was the most important event taking place in the Galilean villages of Jesus’s day since it was to be celebrated by all. The entire church age as defined by the new covenant established by Jesus at His first coming is predicated on the traditional wedding feast of the first century.
By examining the elements of this wedding, the believer in Christ can begin to appreciate the sanctity of the relationship with Christ, His completed work and His promises.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO ‘REPENT’?
TO REPENT SIMPLY MEANS TO ‘CHANGE DIRECTION’ OR TO GO THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION THAN YOU HAVE BEEN GOING. IN OTHER WORDS, AS IT APPLIES TO SALVATION, IT MEANS TO STOP LIVING THE WAY THAT THE WORLD LIVES AND LIVE YOUR LIFE IN OBEDIENCE TO CHRIST JESUS.
THIS SURRENDERING OF YOUR SELF-WILL TO THE WILL OF GOD IS A LIFELONG JOURNEY. SO DO NOT BECOME DISCOURAGED AS YOU STUMBLE IN YOUR WALK WITH JESUS. OUR BATTLE IS WITH THE SPIRITUAL ENEMY OF OUR SOULS, SATAN AND HIS KINGDOM (THE WORLD SYSTEM).
ONCE YOU HAVE PURPOSEFULLY PUT YOUR FAITH IN CHRIST ALONE THE EVIL ONE CAN NEVER HAVE POSSESSION OF YOU AGAIN. BUT HE WILL TRY TO DISCOURAGE YOU AND LIE TO YOU IN ORDER TO HINDER YOUR EFFECTIVENESS FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD.

I’M NOT A GOOD PERSON…I’VE DONE BAD THINGS. HOW COULD GOD FORGIVE ME?
EVERY HUMAN BEING EVER BORN, WITH THE LONE EXCEPTION OF JESUS CHRIST, WAS BORN WITH A SIN NATURE. THE WORD OF GOD SAYS THAT ALL HAVE SINNED, THAT THERE IS NONE RIGHTEOUS NOT EVEN ONE (Romans 3:12). JESUS CAME TO EARTH AS A MAN TO TAKE OUR SINS UPON HIMSELF SO THAT WE COULD BE MADE RIGHT WITH THE FATHER. GOD LOVES US THAT MUCH!(JOHN 3:16)
BUT I AM A GOOD PERSON! I AM KIND AND GENEROUS AND EVERYBODY LIKES ME.
GOD SAYS THAT, “ALL HAVE SINNED AND FALL SHORT.” AND THAT, “THERE IS NONE WHO ARE RIGHTEOUS, NOT EVEN ONE.”
GOD DOES NOT GRADE ON A CURVE. HE DOES NOT WEIGH OUR GOOD DEEDS AGAINST OUR BAD DEEDS TO SEE WHETHER OR NOT WE’VE MADE THE GRADE. HE SAYS OUR RIGHTEOUS DEEDS ARE AS FILTHY RAGS IN HIS SIGHT. WE COULD NEVER DO ENOUGH GOOD DEEDS TO JUSTIFY OURSELF TO OUR HOLY GOD.
SO…ARE WE WITH OUT HOPE? NO, BECAUSE GOD IS NOT ONLY A RIGHTEOUS GOD BUT A LOVING GOD.
WHY CHOOSE JESUS?
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CHRISTIANITY AND ALL THE OTHER “RELIGIONS”?
